"I don't think there's one of us that would say we don't want our homes to reflect good taste--especially if we're inviting women to our homes for Sweet Monday, or Sweet Tuesday, or a Sweet Monday on Saturday. (Really, whatever day of the month suits your family best to host a Sweet Monday.) I'm continually thinking of ways to sweeten and simplify my home, so I can concentrate better on others. One simple way is to take the "o" out of "good" taste and ask myself, "Does my home reflect God's taste?" Does your home reflect God's taste? If our homes reflect God's taste, they will be good. Practically, that means quickly returning a library book that we start to read and are surprised by its contents, or throwing away a cluttered stack of catalogs that particularly tempt us to want things that don't simplify our life."
