Here's how to have a Sweet Monday every day through God's word.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 NIV

Do you recognize your need for Christ?

"I honestly didn't know I was a sinner until I got married. I thought I was pretty clean. Then the week after our honeymoon, it became apparent that I wanted my own way and had fallen short of God's standards of perfect holiness. To my chagrin, I remember vividly marching into Mark's office where he seemed to be hiding and pushing all the books off his top bookshelf and exclaiming, "You made me a mean person. I wasn't mean until I married you!" I love Vance Havner's expression, "What's down in the well comes up in the bucket!" My sin is a terrible condition that's been down there since birth. It just took a really close relationship with my husband to bring it all out. And as hard as those early years were in our marriage, I'm so grateful for them. They forced me to my knees to realize my own need for Christ. To this day, no one can get my dander up like my husband, but he is the very one God has used not only to spur me on with Sweet Monday but to make it possible."

S.P. (Sweet Pea): If you have not recognized your need for Christ, just read 1 Corinthians 13 where it tells us that love is patient, love is kind, not rude, not self-seeking, not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs. Whew! That passage always reveals my need for Christ.
